Neuroscience is the study of the nerves in the spine and brain. Neuroplasticity is the term used to describe the brain’s innate, lifelong ability to spontaneously change its physical structure by forming, strengthening, or weakening specific neural connections.
Every time you learn something new, practice a skill, repeat a thought, or experience an emotion, networks of the brain's 85 - 100 billion neurons communicate with one another. The more often a particular pathway is used, the stronger and more efficient it becomes. Pathways that are rarely used may gradually weaken over time or dissappear all together.
In other words, the brain is a dynamic and resourceful self-educating and highly discriminating living biomechanical organism. It can repair itself in case of an injury and also be “trained” to reverse self-limiting thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs that have built up in the neural pathways over a long period of time and replace them with positive, life-affirming thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors.
The Tapping Creative Intelligence Home-Study Workshop was created to take advantage of this ability of the brain and is written in a workbook format that covers everything that is taught in the live two-day workshop. It includes over 20 self-guided exercises, worksheets, and techniques modeled on the training and conditioning protocols used by elite athletes and top business professionals.
